This tour is highly recommended for nature lovers. Humantay Lagoon is a beautiful turquoise lake which is found at an elevation of 4200 masl. Located on the flanks of the snow-covered Mt. Humantay, visitors here are able appreciate a majestic landscape and exotic high mountain flora and fauna. You will also be able to note how fragile this environment is, and to do your best to protect it. This is truly an unforgettable adventure.

ITINERARY:

We will pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 5:00 am. We will travel by private van to the town of Mollepata. Once there we have our breakfast, and then continue to travel by road to the community of SORAYPAMPA (3900 m). From there we will hike uphill for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach the magical HUMANTAY LAGOON (4200 m.) This is a sacred spot where we will have time to enjoy the mystery of the place. Surrounded by snowy white mountains and exotic high Andean vegetation, this turquoise lagoon reflects the sky and it reflects your dreams. Later we will walk down from the lake and return to Soraypampa where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Mollepata for lunch, and then on back to Cusco.
