Description

On this full package tour you will be able to visit the top three tourist destinations in Peru. You will begin your adventure in the Peru’s vibrant capital city, Lima. And you will discover Colonial Lima, too. Lima was actually founded by the Spanish Conquistador, Francisco Pizzaro, during the early part of the 16th century. Then you will get to know what makes modern Lima tick today. Visit the best neighborhoods, enjoy the best food, and feel the pulsing energy of this great South American capital city.

The center of the vast Incan Empire was Cusco. This will be your next stop. Cusco itself is a marvelous city. The architecture of Cusco is a blend of ancient Incan walls that have had medieval Spanish Barroque churches built on top of them. There is no other place like Cusco, the Belly Button of the World.

But even more marvelous than Cusco is the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is One of the Seven Wonders of the World. The European invaders never found this Incan Citadel. It was covered over and hidden by the dense jungle vegetation until it was re-discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. This fabulous site was constructed in an awe-inspiring location, and you can see it just the way the Incas left it, 500 years ago.

After visiting the wonders of the Cusco area, including the magnificent Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will follow the Route of the Sun to the magical, sapphire blue Lake Titicaca. This Lake is over a hundred miles long, and it is the highest navigable lake on the planet. The Lake’s history is shrouded in legends. You will be amazed by the islands and by the friendly people who live on these islands out in middle of this watery wonderland.
